5th Feb Sunday night, the site suddenly shut down voluntarily.

Though the site never had any legal action taken against it like Pirate Bay or MegaUpload, I beleive its owners probably didn’t want to go through the same problem there Sister Sites have been through. thro This is a very smart move since it was rated amongst the top five torrent sites in most polls over the Internet




This all is to Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and PROTECT IP Act (Preventing Real Online Threats to Economic Creativity and Theft of Intellectual Property Act, or PIPA)

The PROTECT IP Act says that an "information location tool shall take technically feasible and reasonable measures, as expeditiously as possible, to remove or disable access to the Internet site associated with the domain name set forth in the order". In addition, it must delete all hyperlinks to the offending "Internet site"
